It's a big week at Common Sense
Your weekly community update
Sensibles,
It is a big week for Common Sense, and we wanted to pull you in close for what is coming up. We have a live event at the end of the week called Black Before Christian, which is a brave, thoughtful conversation about faith, identity, culture, and the tensions many people quietly carry. It is honest, nuanced, and exactly the kind of space we exist to create. Grab your ticket here and come be part of the room:
A conversation with the MAGA rabbi.
We have also just wrapped a heavyweight interview with Pesach Wolicki, often called the MAGA Rabbi, and the conversation went exactly where it needed to go. I pressed him on Gaza, on AIPAC, on Israel’s influence in America and the US government, and on what peace in the Middle East could realistically look like. It was respectful, direct, and properly challenging in the way grown up public debate should be. Keep an eye out for that drop, because this one will spark serious conversation.
Last week’s episode took a very different angle and focused on something that hits home for almost everyone: money. We spoke with Ken Okoroafor from The Humble Penny, a Sunday Times bestselling author, about practical steps you can take to control and manage your finances. The episode is packed with clarity, encouragement, and tactics you can actually use rather than vague motivational fluff. If you have not watched or listened yet, go back and catch that one.
Across the board, we are getting more consistent with our output, and your involvement genuinely makes the difference. Comment on the videos, jump into the discussions, share clips, and let us know what topics you want us to tackle next. This is a community project as much as it is a media one, and we want you shaping where it goes.
