Good Afternoon Sense-ibles,
Exciting news!
For a few weeks, I’ve been editing an online publication for Common Sense called The Detail: All Black Voices Matter -- It’s about celebrating the diversity of voices in the Black community.
Its a really powerful and short publication. I would like to encourage you to all download it and share it widely when it’s out. Because you are members of our community, you get to see it first thing on Friday and then it will go out on social media outlets.
Read it, debate it and share it. The whole point of the detail is to bring a wide range of voices together in one online thematic report. We have exciting plans for topics next year including, feminism, sports, food and more!

After a 2 month break, our flagship podcast is back. News has become noise! Listen as M.T. and guests help you understand what's really going on in the world - we look at politics, business, climate, culture, technology. We are straight-talking and it sometimes gets heated
This week @MikeOmoniyiCS joined by @Ikennanebo, a student from Columbia University and also president of the @YouCanTooInc a national mentoring programme for black and brown youth in America. They talk about what it's like to be a young Black Man growing up In America.

This is Aramide who is our Admin lead! Because we are a small start-up she often does far more than admin and she is pretty much a crucial pillar for Common Sense. She sends out these weekly emails, except for this one which I (M.T Omoniyi) is writing because it would we weird to write about yourself!
Aramide is vegan and a manga and anime enthusiast.
We are continuing our collaboration with Nurturing Foundation to bring to you a series of virtual workshop for 11-16yr olds in Greater Manchester. This is an opportunity for discussion around resilience, communication & building healthy relationships. The sessions will take place every Tuesday from 5-6 pm on Zoom, you can sign up here
